Where it fits

Photopea is a practical candidate when you need to inspect or edit a layered image in a browser without installing a desktop editor. Its document model uses PSD and its help covers masks, Smart Objects and common output formats. Standard editing runs on the device and can continue after the page loads without a connection. Optional cloud storage and account services introduce separate online behavior. A small signed-out trial confirmed document creation and basic shape/text editing. Premium removes ads for a purchased period. File compatibility should still be checked with a representative document. Supporting PSD does not prove that every Photoshop effect or extension round-trips unchanged.
